Currently in Australia it’s winter, which is what has partially dictated
how I dress my doll; typically focussing on layering, and textures.
My first wintery must-have is
a coat! The one featured on my doll is this stunning ‘Chanel Over Shoulder Coat’, which is perfect. A coat is a must-have in my opinion, as it screams
winter-apparel. Coats are wonderful for both adding texture and creating
additional layering. If you’re going to invest in your first coat I recommend
choosing one which will be versatile both colour and shape-wise. This navy
colour is great as it suits a variety of colours both dark and light, as well
as complementing many different wig styles.
Second, a chic blouse! The one featured is a ‘Callie’s Picks Gathered Silk Blouse’. This blouse is a gorgeous
baby blue colour, which suits whites and reds especially. The ruffling effect
on the front adds great texture when layered on top of a turtleneck or dress.
Blouses come in all shapes; collared, muted colours, bold, sleeveless etc. It’s
totally personal preference what you choose!
Another must-have is little
black dress. ‘Subcouture’ recently had a release which is where I purchased
this stunning ‘Subcouture Rose Gold
Shelley Slip Dress’. This dress is great because it’s awesome for layering,
something which I love. The shell detailing on the chest adds some additional
detail, which could replace accessories in an outfit. A black dress is great
because it’s classic, and it can be styled literally in any way. ‘Vinyl’
currently have a black dress out at the moment which I have featured, and that
is a great starcoin alternative.
Finally, a puffy jacket is arguably a must-have. This ‘Museum Mile
femdem Jacket’ is great because it is a bright, fun colour, and creates
dimension with the off-the-shoulder look. If puffy jackets aren’t your thing,
then just pretend this must-have is
focussed on a bright coloured item. Puffy jackets are totally in trend right
now, with some of the most wanted puffy-jackets being from ‘Antidote’ but this ‘Museum
Mile’ one is certainly a great option if you have neither the time nor money to
invest in rare ‘Antidote’ items.
