Yas, prints & fun patterns! Stardoll is not the only place where I wear funky prints - in my real life I love an obnoxiously patterned piece, spotted culottes, bright floral tea-dresses - you name it, I'm a fan. For this post I have decided to show you how to add a bit of zest to your look with prints. Bold prints are nothing to fear, in fact, they should be throughout your closet. If you're new to pieces as loud as these, I suggest beginning with a skirt. In the first two looks I have used printed skirts with fairly toned-down and solid items. The Gucci skirt in the first look is truly art to my eyes, how gorgeous. I wanted the print to be the focal point of the look, so I paired it with plain black items - this is probably the simplest way to style bold pieces like this. If you're a bit more courageous, style print with colours - as seen in the last two looks - colour is something we should embrace. A neutral gingham skirt works great with all colours, say, blue boots and a bright red top! Plaid also is something we all should try. If I remember correctly, this dress is from Vinyl; now, on its own I thought it looked a bit 'off', but upon testing different styles I found one that I liked. Pairing it with some gorgeous red Fendi boots, and the black turtleneck from PPQ, I realised that this was the look for me. Scarecrow-chic perhaps? This shows you never to judge an item simply by its hanger appeal. You can up-style anything! Remember, testing out styles and trial-and-error is all a part of the process - you simply cannot expect something to work on the first go! So, should you feel inclined or be feeling a bit more adventurous, dress your doll in some funky patterns - it cannot hurt to try.
