Callie’s Picks – an ode to tributes. The release of Callie’s Picks often goes ignored by
many, including me, it just never hits the mark for me. Being an old tribute décor
release I got quite excited, but yet was left mildly disappointed. For me, the
room has no consistency, the items don’t all complement each other – especially
that folding shade, girl bye. I was rooting for your Callie, we were all
rooting for you! While there are some items which are sought after, such as the
Chanel shopping basket, the dog, and
couture kitty, they are all seriously overpriced. Thirty-something stardollars
for the Chanel basket, no thanks. I
mean, come on people. The Oscar De La
Renta shirts released, boring. All of the items, I personally found them mildly
underwhelming. I get it, tribute stuff is limited,
but majority of these items aren’t in high demand to my knowledge, so do they need to be priced so sporadically? The interior was nice, I’ll give them that, but for 36sd with
my 10% off Royalty discount, come on Callie…I don’t have high expectations for Callie’s Picks ever, but if you’re going
to do a throwback on tribute décor, make me look at the items and go ‘wow that
is something I need’, ‘oh yes, I’ve been looking for this item everywhere’. If
you liked this release, that’s cool I’m not dragging your opinion, you go rock
those items in your suite, but for me personally, this was a let-down as I have
higher expectations for this tribute season.

Although I agree with you that the release seemed rushed and all over the place, there's one thing I think we all mutually love (and also looked passed) - the interior. Not only is it so elegant, but it's minimalist, allowing it to be made both fancy, and a little more casual. I loved it so much, I actually bought it!!
