Working With White

White, white, white, a wardrobe essential. Items that’re white can add an amazing sense of crisp sophistication to any look; or they can complement the colours already utilised aiding in them standing out more. I love white, which is evident through my continuous styling of plain white blouses, turtlenecks, and t-shirts. White pieces should be one of your best friends when it comes to a perfect closet for styling. Here I have styled some of my top white picks three different ways; using a hat, blouses, jogging pants, a neck tie, and shoes. White looks good with many things and creates a great backdrop when adding splashes of colour. I particularly love white with denim, it’s very timeless and quite classic really. One of my favourite colours to wear currently is orange, which I have used for my first styling; bright oranges and vivid blue hues work wonderfully against the stark white. Similarly, in the second look I have also used pops of colour against white with hopes that the look overall is more eye-catching. A stunning men’s Gucci jumper with rainbow colouring is perfect when paired with denim, white pants, and some cool heels. The third look is slightly more ‘toned down’, with white being the focal point. The clean white blouse and shoes enhance the distressed texturing on this gorgeous denim skirt, and the neck piece just adds some extra flair.
So, do make sure you have plenty of white in your wardrobe, you never know when it just might make a look a bit more special!
