Gucci Girls

It’s the second week of tribute season, which saw the next release happening just a few hours ago. Gracing our screens this time – Gucci. I love Gucci, and I was expecting it to come out as it’s so popular, this year especially. Set in an art gallery, the displayed pieces really do standout. The first floor offers four distinct looks. The standout piece for me was the stunning tiger print midi skirt, as seen in look four. Two bags were featured in this release which were equally as beautiful – flamboyant and unique in their style, an appropriate ode to Gucci definitely. I would’ve loved for there for be a Dionysus bag, or some leather loafers – items which were insanely popular at the beginning of the year. The shoes in this release were a bit different I’ll admit. While they certainly were not my style, I can appreciate the authenticity and the replication of Gucci style.
The second floor had four outfits also, however, for a change, two male looks! Hoorah, justice for our Stardoll brothers! The male looks are divine. The winning piece for me however is a gorgeous rainbow angry cat sweater – which I bought myself to layer. I was so happy that Stardoll created a bit more variety for the male dolls. The other looks on the second floor were nice also. A military-esque look, which the iconic Gucci belt bag, which people were creating themselves. Also, a floral dress, which I felt was a miss. Something about the silhouette was very off and unflattering – I so wish it worked out, because it is an amazing piece.
Overall, a solid release which saw me buying majority of the items. I’m hanging out for next week’s tribute, hoping for Balenciaga, Miu Miu, Chloe – anything different, I don’t want the same tributes every time.
